Gabriella's Italian Grill

- Gabriella's Italian Grill and Pizzeria is by far my all time favorite Italian restaurant. Situated along the main drag on South Padre Island, they feature a chill atmosphere and great food with a bit of coastal flare. If you ever make it that far down in Texas you got to pay them a visit!
Since the brandmark what essentially be the face of the restaurant, I wanted to develop one that really showed what they were all about. Gabriella's creates a unique mix of fine dining with a laid back atmosphere, and I hope I captured that with this mark.
I decided to develop my own typeface for this project. I was inspired by both the works of my teacher, Ryan Feerer, as well as classic Italian typography.
