For the London 2012 Olympics Sub Rosa created the GE Works Centre in King’s Cross, an immersive environment, event space, and executive meeting facility highlighting GE’s commitment as a worldwide Olympic partner through 2020. Visitors were given a unique view into GE technology and applications that GE had deployed in and around the city of London to aid in making these games the more sustainable in history.
Sub Rosa designed a variety of interactive product installations that allowed guests of GE to explore the wonder of GE's work.
The Works Centre design included a high definition LED mesh on the building’s exterior, scale models, multi-touch surfaces, a holographic projection of Tower Bridge, and Constellation, a unique lighting installation visualizing realtime social media chatter about GE and the Games. The Works Centre also hosted a full schedule of events and programming, including lectures, presentations, and a fully catered hospitality suite.
