The project began with a branding and packaging analysis of GE's current Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs. After determining the direction of the brand, the design was created based on the brand positioning of being
straightforward and informative. There are two categories of softlight and daylight, each with a single pack and multi-pack.
Information on the packaging highlights the benefits of CFLs and urges the consumer to go beyond just changing light bulbs to help the environment. Tips and a website are provided for further consumer education.
