Future Urban Mobility (FUM) is a project of development electric semi-public vehicle for the future use in city centers, where entrance of fossil-fuel burning cars is planned to be forbidden in near future. Electric cars have many advantages, like zero local emissions, silent running, easy charging accessible nearly anywhere and more.
The task for our team was to design car, that can accommodate at least six people with possibility of carrying disable person wheelchair in smallest possible bounding box preserving both safety and good ergonomics.
Together with the other teams, work on mock-up and fully working prototype later started in the mid of 2010.
