Can one change the perception of the landscape through drawing?
During a tour in the city of Porto as a pretext to draw urban landscape, I was putting some questions about what to draw, in a city with very marked and turistic views in a search for the unusual.
In a comparison of various elements of the drawing realm, methods, techniques, framing, composition, suspension of elements, construction and invention of the landscape, incorporation of the tactile sense, used by several authors - David Hockney, Alvaro Siza, Antonio Lopez, Alexander Cozens - I question if drawing can contribute to the change of the perception of the landscape.
