I go the idea for the wooden desk from the tempered glass sheets I happened to get my hands on (for free!). The desk is designed and crafted by me, from scratch. I wanted to make something simple, yet with distinctive details. That is why I went for the geometrical shapes, but added some uncommon features, like the glass sheet, three-dimensional legs and the heavy-duty bolts that they are attached with. Bolts also make it easy to disassemble the table, a feature that is useful to a person who is moving from place to place pretty often. The finishing is made with tinted dry wood wax.
The bigger speakers are clones from a commercial speaker ProAc 2.5. The insides and the speaker box are quite the same as the original version, but the finishing is done by me. The electronics inside are also self made, using the same components as in the original, though. I used tropical wood veneer (don't remember the species now) to cover the boxes, and then tinted it with light stain and made the finishing with clear liquid wood wax. Same process was used for the smaller speakers, which are model Anni, designed by Audiopoli. Both sound awesome, and I will hopefully own them till I'm old and grumpy.
