The design concept is developed by splitting the main body of the sofa, and making the construction visible. The formal inspiration is taken from a chocolate that splitted from the middle, and where melted caramel inside is seen.
As a result of that splitting process, all sitting lying and supporting parts are placed with an angle, which also gives a dynamic feeling and perception to whole product.
Usually sofas make people closer, but this sofa has seperated sitting places and a common table that can create two different personal areas possible at the same time. This also makes the design suitable for a usage of waiting tasks and places.
The sofa consists of leathel covered polyurethane and massive wood covered metal construction.
