Fruitful Design
- Fruitful Design Poster
Reading Analysis Infographic - This poster summarizes key ideas presented in the book, "Citizen Designer: Perspectives on Design Responsibility" (edited by Steven Heller and Véronique Vienne) © 2007. The book is composed of 40 essays that delve into what it means to be a designer in a corporate-driven, over-branded, global consumer culture. The key points I took personally are compared to different kinds of fruit and what it means to create "fruitful design".

Making a Statement: The peach becomes a billboard for Guerrilla Street Postering.
What's Inside Counts: Pineapples aren't the most beautiful fruit,
but it's what's on the inside that counts,
and that also applies to design.
Exposing/Revealing: Design should be naked as a peeled banana;
fully exposed to what it truly is and not maliciously convincing otherwise.
