The Friesen Wedding
For the love of design, but also just for love.
Part frugality, part stubborn determination, and all mixed in with a whole lotta love (for both the process and for my fiancé), I produced nearly all 300+ of these by hand. After hitting numerous roadblocks in getting them press-printed, I decided to screen print the invitations myself. I had them cut down to size, and then rounded the corners & perforated the RSVP section by hand (with the aid of my wonderful fiancé). I also had a hand stamp made for both the seal and the return address. Additional tiny info slips were printed digitally.

2 color with overprinting. Printed on Crane's Lettra 110#.

*Additional materials pictured at the bottom include programs & save-the-date illustration.
Screen printing help & guidance from classmate, Jessie Riley, since I had never actually tried it before.
The original illustration later adopted for our save-the-dates.
Wedding programs were printed digitally - though once again I put my hand corner-puncher to use.
