Every year the Students' Union send out the FRESHERS' FORTNIGHT guide to the houses of students' soon to join the university, and also leave piles of them around the university buildings and halls of residence.

The first decision I made was to make a slight alteration to the format of the small publication, by making it landscape and punching a hole in it to act like a calendar for the students that generally have a huge pin board available in their new rooms!

Besides the provided logos and a few of the topical photographs from past years events inside, I had total freedom with the mini publication.

I enjoyed the challenge and knowing thousands were being printed kept the pressure on to get the attention of the newest bunch of freshers!
