Emmeline Pankhurst's speech Freedom or Death is the oldest in the collection, it has the most traditional format. To break up the traditional layout of the spreads I indented the notes and quotes. Particularly emotive quotes were given their own page and set in a Vorticist style, as this movement began in England the year this speech was given. Purple and green run through this booklet as the colours of Pankhurst's party, the WSPU, were purple, white and green.
The corresponding poster folds down and wraps around the booklet like a dust jacket. This was designed in a traditional woodblock style, as appropriate for the time.
