Foundations
Foundations is an exploration of cultural landscape at the edges of urban structure.
Nature develops on its slow and dynamically balanced yet ever changing way while city expands itself rapidly in an irreversible way in necessity of more space, power, connectivity, accessibility, sustainability and maintainability and generates new urban layouts by creating massive satellite towns and suburban districts. The new cultural landscapes are defined by unmistakably visible human interventions and activities which are dominating the relation between the nature and the urban.
These images within this project are illustrating the conflict between culture and layers of nature and also documenting the dilemma between organically evolved environment and human altered landscape through investigating the urban borders while stating a structural change over in the sense of conventional landscape.
