Fotografika project is an interactive collaboration, the main product is a unique portrait of personality, a synthesis of photos, illustrations and paintings. It also presents a print result — a hand-made album or a digital interactive book.
We made a research between the audience who doesn’t use photo services. People were asked a question: Why don't they try to order a commercial photo set in studio and what do they expect to get from their own photos.
After summarizing the interviews we had 2 insights: amateur photographers are bored with traditional fotorutina; people are disappointed with photo services because they want to see pictures reflect not only their outer shell, but also their inside nature, interests, and spiritual experiences. So after our people-centered research we create an idea for this kind of clients and also for artists, illustrators and designers who are willing to get new experience.
Our project is aimed for people with high aesthetic demands, as well as the desire for self-realization and creative transformation of reality. We decided to unite photographic reality with illustrative elements that will reflect the inner world of a person depicted on them.
There is a stereotype that mass studio photography has little to do with the art. Our task is to enrich the photos with the help of visual context. It is a kind of fast-art photography.
The project will be promoted in two phases:
- The first phase — exhibition of first Fotografika example works. As models, we plan to attract media people, renowned photographers and illustrators.
- The second phase — the launch of the service. After the exhibition a new offer Fotografika will be held in Monochrome photostudio as the opportunity to order series of unique, personal art portraits.
