Description
The event sought feedback and support for a proposed Social Enterprise Hub at the Library. Nathan from DayEIght worked with the SLV and RMIT to design the forum structure, themes, content, and collateral, and secured keynote speakers for the event.
  • Forum - Making a Small World Smaller, State Library of Victoria 7/09/2010

    The Forum builds on a multi-million dollar proposal developed by the SLV and RMIT University to transform a wing of the Library into a co-working space, combining social enterprise, community development and social media to increase Victoria’s intellectual and social capital.
    Nathan from DayEight worked with David Gilbert RMIT and Pat Thurgood from the SLV to design the forum structure, themes, content, and collateral, and to secure keynote speakers for the event from the Innovation / Social Enterprise fields.
    Making a Small World Smaller was opened by Adam Bandt Federal Member for Melbourne, and Professor Margaret Gardner AO, and included presentations from Pete Williams; CEO Deloitte Digital, Dr Mark Elliott; Collabforge, Mark Daniels; Social Traders, and a long list of social innovators and digital entrepreneurs.
