Lunch, Day 2
Thursday, February 23rd, 2012
For lunch, we decided to eat the famous poutine, so our tour guide suggested we go to this place, Montreal Poutine. The poutine was absolutely delicious! It ranks high up in the best poutine I’ve had list. My favourite about this dish has got to be the gravy. I smooched it up to the last drop.
Dinner, Day 2Thursday, February 23rd, 2012
For dinner, we went to this restaurant, St. Hubert, which is like Quebec’s version of Swiss Chalet, except it’s a little pricier. Not by much, but just a little bit. I wasn’t really hungry, so I decided to get Asian salad. The Asian chicken that came with it was absolutely delicious. I loved it. And the service was great, even though the server spoke little English.
Lunch, Day 3
Friday, February 24th, 2012
For Day 3, my friend Sonia and I decided to go to Quebec City. And for lunch, we ended up having poutine again. Except it was from this Quebec fast food that is known for their poutine. This poutine was very different from the one yesterday. Although it tasted good, not amazing, it still tasted like fast food. And it really filled me up like crazy. I didn’t for days because of how full I was from it. I don’t know if that’s a good thing.
Dinner, Day 3
Friday, February 23rd, 2012
For dinner, my friend Sonia really wanted to go to this diner, Nickles for milkshakes. We were reaaally full from the poutine from Quebec City that we didn’t even end up having milkshakes at all. While waiting, they gave us a bowl of popcorn. I thought that was really interesting. I got a brushetta appetizer (no picture, sorry!) and I didn’t even finish because I’m still full from the stupid poutine.
