All print production was done through a press, using techniques such as gum arabic printing and photo transfering. The use of imagery from an old encyclopedia gives it the feeling of reading a textbook but also maintains its child-like appeal through messy printing application of ink and bold colors. Choosing to print on thicker cards was more of a personal choice because as a child who was diagnosed with a learning disability at such an early age, I learned many things through repetition from index cards.
