Up close and personal
I always firmly believed that photographing flowers was easy because they are so stunningly beautiful and all one has to do is to capture them.  You can't go wrong with beautiful things.  Until, that is, a florist pointed out to me that she knew people who couldn't do it. She told me (and still does occasionally if I prompt her!) that I see flowers properly and that I can photograph them well because I fully appreciate their subtleties and their amazing structures.  The least I can do, in that case, is to share them.
