It is difficult to design a self-identity because it matters what other people will think about the designer after watching the identity. There's no limitation by a customer, it's only just me who defines the design, no one else have a say in it. It will be like what I want to express about myself. The company name came from my first name Virág, it means Flower in english; it is Flores in latin. I used this latin word to make 'Floresk' as a firm name. I wanted to make a design using flowers, but not so directly, so this is why I drew these floral motifs that are just reminding us to flowers. I could easily make variations by changing the colour and the form, this makes the identity exciting. I like the elegant and beautiful forms, the precision and I wanted to show these values in the identity. I hope I succeeded!:)
Az önarculat tervezés nehéz dolog, mert nem mindegy, hogy az ember hogyan láttatja saját magát. Fontos, hogy mások milyen képet kapnak róla, ezt legkönnyebben a saját magának tervezett arculatból lehet leszűrni. Itt nincsenek megkötések, az arculat olyan lesz, amilyennek én akarom, senkinek sincs beleszólása csak nekem. Ezért ez tükrözi a legjobban, hogy milyen is az én saját grafikai világom, milyen designt szeretek legjobban csinálni. Cégnévnek egy olyan általam kreált szavat választottam, amely a keresztnevemből származik: a Virág latinul Flores, ebből már nem volt nehéz egy jól csengő nevet összehozni, így lett Floresk. Ebből mindenképpen valami "virágos" florális grafikai megfogalmazásmódot akartam létrehozni, amely ne túl direkt módon, de utaljon a nevemre. A virág-motívumokat könnyen lehet variálni, szinezni, így az arculat mindig változó, ettől lesz izgalmas, de ugyanakkor egynemű. Szeretem a nőiességet, a precízséget, a pontosságot, az eleganciát, a szépet; mivel ezek az értékek fontosak számomra, szerettem volna, ha visszatükröződnének az arculatban is.
