During a three week challenge Goodhope FMs Nigel Pearce, pushed listeners to the Healthy Heart Makeover website to follow the progress of their favourite finalist through daily updates.
The website functioned as a virtual diary, putting a picture to each finalist and documenting their journey to a healthy heart from chocolate cake and atchaar for breakfast to snacking on raisins and a new found love for provitas. You could read all about it.
On the site, the public were able to vote for their favourite finalist and stood to win great prizes including iPods and Nike Footwear. People could also leave behind encouraging messages of support with all user activity (votes and messages) being sharable on Facebook.
