These were my final prints for my Intro to Printmaking class. It was created by taking the image then reversing the image and using light to etch it into the solar plate. Once the image was etched and set, I then then squeegeed my color of choice onto the plate, then pressed it into my material on a rolling press. I decided to use fabric as I had wanted to eventually turn these pieces into pillow cases. I played with different patterns and turned the pillow cases different directions to see how the image would look on the same fabric.
