Perfect darkness is the fifth full length album by the british band Fink, which they released on Ninja Tune records. Fink is a trio and the three wood textures represents each band member. Each wood texture has different lines and all of them tell a different story. We really liked the idea of each line in a tree representing one year of the trees life. In the booklet the wooden shapes are rearranged differenetly on each page.

I did this in collaboration with Alli Metall and the booklet photography is by Marino Thorlacius. The album artwork got nominated for the best album cover in the Icelandic graphic design awards.
