Fine Art Photographs
A series of self portraits taken while a student at The Rhode Island School of Design. This series explores self identity while compared to natural and synthetic materials. I paired myself, naturally with other materials. Some of them covering my face and my identity. Where I become a part of the element. I shot these with a Medium Format camera in film where I developed and printed the images myself in a darkroom. I have extensive knowledge of photography, printing and developing images. These images are also in a print format. This was an ongoing project that eventually led to shooting in other outdoor natural elements using other props, etc. Images are open to interpretation.
