This is a design for the POUNDSHOP event, part of London Design Week 2010. The brief was to design AND PRODUCE a product to retail for £1. The result…………The 'Fold-it Wallet', a sheet of sticky film which can be turned into a wallet
Sticky transparent film means that you can customise the wallet by adding anything (LITERALLY ANYTHING!) into the lining when you are folding it up. Simply follow the instructions template on the paper backing and hey presto, you have a one-in-a-million £1-wallet. The wallets are super skinny and highly personal. They can hold cards, tickets and cash and are a great alternative to generic leather “butt-bricks”.
