Reviewing my own work, i think a combination of nostalgic technology and contemporary aesthetics gives this little radio a very unique character. The flickering glow of the tube amplifier and its renowned sound quality, secures a visual and auditory thrill; adding depth to the 'radio experience'. It has been designed with everyday usage in mind, resulting in the completely analogue interface for simple and accurate interaction.
While paying tribute to old-fashioned hightech, the radio also welcomes new technology as it features Airplay, making the user able to stream music, radio or audiobooks directly from a smartphone or tablet.
