This is a student project. Our assignment was to create a double-page spread for a sports car, a mini-van, an SUV, or a smart car.
I chose the 2013 Fiat 500. We also had to write our own briefs:
Target Audience: Young males between the ages of 22 and 30 who consider themselves to be audiophiles. They are the ones who are responsible for giving their friends a new favourite band and taking them to the best concerts they have ever seen. They still buy physical CD’s from the music store. They also happen to be fashionable, so they are always on top of the latest trends in urban fashion and music.
Product Benefit: Not only does the 2013 Fiat 500 boast a powerful beats by dr. dre audio system, but it is also fashionable and engaging to drive.
Positioning Statement: Powered by Beats. Driven by you.
Advertising Idea: The idea is to use the white, dashed street lines that divide driving lanes and an illustration of some audio wave forms to illustrate the synonimity of a good drive and good music.
