Festival of the sun
Over November I travelled to India and shot the following images around Bodh Gaya. While we were staying there they happened to be celebrating the Festival of the Sun God. People gathered on the bank of the river to bathe in its sacred water, pray and make ritual offerings to the Sun God. its a highly elaborate festival noted for its impressive display of colorful costumes, music, singing and extravagant rituals.
