Ferguson's Irish Pub
When John Ferguson passed away in 2011, the fate of his tiny, decade old Irish pub was left unsure. Eventually, old friends and fellow pub owners took over the business to carry on John's legacy. A renovation and rebrand was necessary to suggest the new direction of the pub, from quaint to classy. Inspired by the founder's origins as a ship worker and the pub's location near the harbor of historical downtown Honolulu, the new brand begs the question: what happens when you playfully mix traditional Irish and nautical themes together? Ship happens.
