We live in a society that prides itself on beauty. When it comes to the standards that shape this idea of beauty, being overweight is one thing that does not fit the mould. As an individual who is overweight, I want to bring to the forefront the idea that it is ok to love yourself just as you are; this is the basis of my senior thesis.
