- # TEAM Claudio Battistel, Valentino Bocola, Lorenzo carrara# CONCEPT we imagine a fast sailing boat, comfortable and easy-to-use enough to catch some motoryacht's users, with some "green" improvements among usual boat production# PROJECT a large catamaran, full of static stability, with slender (11:1) wavepiercing hulls, software-optimized for drag reduction middle speed range. Non-renewable energy consumption is reduced by using natural ventilation system with seawater coolers and auxiliar fans, thick hull thermal insulation, and a couple of Steyr engines (63kw diesel / 7kw electric reversible).Renewable energy is catched by fixed 70mq PV panels (60kwh/day summer production), two 500w wind turbine, two 200w trailing generators, ad stored in a 75kwh battery-pack.And, of course, the main propulsion is sails, on that peculiar twin soft-wing rig described further.LOA 22.8m, BOA 13.7m, draft 1.6-3.4m, displ 25tSail Area 2x 130mqdiesel propulsion: max spd 13.5kn / range 1200nm @ 10knelectric propulsion: max spd 7kn / range 80nm @ 5kn

- # RIG this is a mix of different existing solutions: parallel unstayed rig (as in Team Phillips) to reduce heeling and hull/platform load, unisail and hydraulic captive winches to simplify maneuvring, soft wing sails (as in Omer Wingsails or Tim Dunn's works) to improve performance keeping complete furling capability.

- # INTERIORS bow and aft covered seating/dining areas are separated from interiors only by transparent sliding doors, which can be fully opened at anchor gaining a single open-space living area from bow to stern. Cabin layout is charter version, with 6 double+bathoroom, plus 2 crew cabins.
