I recently was inspired to create some fantail sketches. A fantail flew into the house 3 separate times, i keep seeing them flutter and fly in-front of me as I would go for runs through trees & along the river. Plus I had one basically fly into a window I was looking out of – weird!!

The fantail is a beautiful New Zealand bird that has an amazing wide tail.
I experimented with simple colours & abstract shapes. Used contrast in shading and experimented with bold swift lines to show movement. Read Less
