Facial contact with the hand is a touch that we are accustomed to feeling numerous times a day, mostly done under our subconscious mind. This map is a visual representation of the data I collected where I came in contact with my facial features throughout the day, plotted by the black dots and connected together by one thin strand of string representing the movement of the hand. The nylon stretches over the sections that were most concentrated. This map collaborates the use of 3D principles into 2D graphic design, creating an interesting visual effect encapsulated by fragility and elegance.
