A Flash app that lets users dim their profile picture in support of Earth Hour 2011
This app was produced by Arc Worldwide and Leo Burnett. I was the Flash Lead in charge of the software development of the application. The basic idea is to allow users to either dim an existing photo, browse their hard drive for a photo, or take a photo with their web cam. The dimmed photo is then added to their profile pictures album so they can make it their current profile picture. We wanted to automatically make it their current profile picture, but Facebook said we could not do this.
Users also have the ability to share the app with friends on Facebook.
