The FVA, or “Favourite Visitor Awards” is a celebration of The FWA's (Favorite Website Awards) milestone of 50 million visitors. We decided that the best way to celebrate the visitors was to, well, celebrate the visitors. For a couple of weeks our site takeover was launched when users visited The FWA, and those who stayed long were entertained by a snarky gameshow-type host who applauded them for helping to make the site what it is. Users were encouraged to upload their own photos to the Wall of Fame via Facebook Connect.
