Fuori Salone 2010
A group of 12 Japanese creators finished their official debut to the Fuori Salone 2010 in Milan with a great success. In the midst of the large attention, at the Fonderia Napoleonoca (http://www.fonderianapoleonica.it/), a historic cast iron factory building in the Isora Area of Milan.
The artists formed an artist group “the Voice in Itinere 2010” with unprecedented varieties of art works such as traditional materials from Japan and conceptual designs, which caught fresh attention of local and international media, as well as countless stop-bys during the historic international exhibition. Thanks to their non-commercialism, their collection articulated details of their production process. As a result, freshness and uniqueness are certainly visible, and their one-of-a-kind expressions are created by unique contrast on materials: traditional ones such as bamboo, wood, iron and ceramic, and contemporary ideas such as LED lights, 3D tiles, natural wood mosaic, recycled parts, etc.
The group believes that their cutting-edge creativity uniquely collaborated with the historic ambience of the cast iron factory from the Napoleon era, and that generated special appeal to the locals and visitors from all over the world.
All Voice in Itinere artists have already started working on future collection with more creativity and more artistic power. Read Less
