Avant Garde, the typeface, has always fascinated me.
The purpose of this font was two fold:
The purpose of this font was two fold:
1. To have diagonal stems for certain letters (A, M, &c.) and have them merge into adjoining letter seamlessly without any effort by the user.
2. To design an instant logo delivery system, i.e. type out the word, et voilà—instant logo (à gogo).
