FMCG - Dried Fruit Packaging

For this project we had to choose an existing fast moving consumer goods packaging and redesign this. I chose Alison's Pantry, which is a New Zealand company specialising in providing nuts, seeds, and dried fruit in bulk scoop bins. For the redesign I chose to make a snack-sized package for dried fruit, specifically apple, mango and pineapple. It is targeted towards women aged 25-30. I wanted to keep the style simple and elegant, so used minimal colour and no complicated graphics. I calculated and made the dieline myself, which is an interesing shape with an angled top and front side. We also had to come up with a creative barcode that will work in the real world, so I used fruit silhouettes.
