FlyIn Reader is the outcome of a really ambitious project called #readingstartapp. We had to make a app that would bring the future of the reading experience closer to the present. We only had two months to develop the whole idea and present it the best we could with what we had.
In the beginning, we were kind of lost. We had never designed an app and we had no idea what the future of reading could be. We got together and started thinking "where do people read this days?". Airports and airplanes would be our main focus. The project was starting to make sense and we were really exited.
FlyIn Reader is meant to reduce expenses of airline companies and also help consolidate the brand (airline). This would also make users more satisfied giving them more magazines designed especially for iPad thus ensuring a great experience.
The best way to distribute this app would be through a big company like Star Alliance. It would mean a plus for them to have our app.
