  • The annual Pistahan show held by the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Filipino-American Student Association requested designs for quartercards, posters and ticket stubs. The theme "Pangarap" most closely translates to dream, and the show followed a young woman as she tries to pursue her own dreams of becoming a singer against the social and familial expectations that plague her.
  • Filipino-American Student Association Members sporting a t-shirt that I had originally developed by hand illustration (created in 2008).
  • Asked to re-design another t-shirt concept, I tackled this instead using computer software rather then rendering the image by hand as I did with the other.
  • The above was one of the three treatments I had given for another event, an annual dialogue conference hosted by the Filipino Intercollegiate Networking Dialogue (FIND). This organization hosts an open forum for the collegiate Filipino community as they deal with everyday issues that effect Filipino-Americans and connects them on a larger scale along the East Coast. That year, the theme was "Dream for More". The difficulty for me in this project was to create a few various formats for the logo, while still retaining a cohesion amongst its multiple uses.
  • Designs for a a possible apparel graphic to represent District 6 (Washington, D.C., Maryland and VIrginia) schools in the larger umbrella organization of FIND.
