Timun Mas is Indonesian folklore about a charming brave girl who was born by the seed of a cucumber given by a giant monster called Buto Ijo. She was raised by an old woman in a small village, but at the age of seventeen,Buto Ijo came to his promise to get Timun Mas back and eat her. Timun Mas fought the giant with four traditional herbs that came out magic. Chilli, cucumber, shrimp terasi, and sea salt saved her life.
