SANTO STEFANO BANK
Martellago Venezia

Studio Architetto Mar

This is a project very simple do to the minimal budget the bank wanted to spend.
Situation:
The 50 yo. Building, is placed on a corner of a city block, right behind the "main street", so is a bit distant from the main flowes.
They ask to Studio Architetto Mar, then to me, to find out an idea to be seen by Clients and visitors.
Originally the building was prevalently for apartments, but after the bank bought a big portion of it, needed to re-define the image of the elevations.
Project:
The idsa was to use elements that hide to "protect" the Bank and remind the gold bars. Originally I planned those code-elements, with a different cladding material. It was Brass, with protecting paint.
Anyway, everybody knows as things goes inside an office, then was chosen copper.
I like the result as well, but now seem to serious.
Then I work on the colors of the elevations, choosing a right palette that fits with the elements.
