This project was a collaboration between the museum in Den Bosch and the art academy I am studying on. We needed to make a magazine based on food products displayed on old paintings. My product was the egg.
For my research I went to 2 different egg-farms. During my visits I noticed everything is running on conveyor belts and everything was completely automated. My layout is based on those facts, so I gave the magazine the look and feel of a machine. Every spread is connected to each other, just like a conveyor belt. The typography is based on the codes you find on an egg.
