This project evolved during a personal project I did in which I was on a research trip to find out what writing means to me, and how I could use it as a drawing too.
Through several research sketches, tryouts and essays I finally ended in the small sketchbook formats, which I am currently filling up. Starting with quotes and texts that I repeated seemlingly endless, I continued on to writing down the music I was listening too at the same time, keeping in mind the repetition of one same element, but trying to keep it simple so that I could focus in repeating instead of concentrating on whether the movements I was doing with my hand were right or not, since I am not on a research to get the perfect line, but a different way to express myself, and to evolve in my own personal style. Which resulted in some abstract, strange filling of pages, scribbles, lines, engravings, which will probably seem bizarre to every one else, but for me they represent a lot.
So here is what I came up with, and what this project is currently looking like.
