These new born calves are photographed in a style similar to how adult cows are photographed if a cow or bull is to go to auction. Below is the calf's name (which is the farm name then its fathers name and its mothers name) and its statistics. These are produced from a combination of its mothers and fathers stats and are very accurate.I wanted to show the calves as they were only a few days old, weak still finding their feet, juxtaposed with their stats and surroundings of what is expected of them.Even with all this information we don't know what they will grow up to be like, what their temperament will be.So why does humanity label everything, deep down we all start the same way, is it the events of our lives that make us who we are or are we mere statistics?
