Our client, Exclusive Books has a Corporate Social Investment programme where they donate thousands of books to charities and schools every year. They briefed us to create a poster campaign to raise awareness about the good they do through such initiatives like this.
French-Canadian artist Guy Laramee creates picturesque art by carving landscapes out of old books. His reason for doing these pieces was to give old and unused books meaning once again. This was a perfect fit for the Exclusive Books campaign as they, in essence, do the same thing. So, we approached him and he agreed to collaborate with us and together we created a series of posters to raise awareness about this good cause.
