'Exactly What I'm Looking For' is a coming-of-age piece, more akin to a high-end music video than a promotional film for a university.
Alongside impressive online views on YouTube, the film was re-cut as a trailer and shown at cinemas across the North West, UK.
It formed the cornerstone of LJMU's recruitment campaign in 2012-13, helping improve applications for September 2013 by 8%, much better than the 3.5% average rating for the sector.
