These are the final artworks for a brief entitled 'Everydog has it's day' that i was set over the summer. As the job was for a position at a children's publisher, i wanted to create something that was challenging, yet appropriate for my audience. I chose to focus on the expression and how it meant that everybody, even the lowest, weakest person will have their moment to shine. in the context of publishing i took the idea through the route of printed books vs e books and kindles. I don't have anything personally against kindles, but i do love the smell and feel of a printed book. Its great to have a weighty book in your hands. As you will notice i took a propaganda approach to these posters, as they were created during the london riots and couldn't help that think about how underground movements and propaganda has it's place in today's society as much as it has in your past.
