The motive with squares actually came from the parts in the interior design EFF already had.
The tricky part was that logo had to be in both estonian and english.
In the end, it somehow turned out in sort of a neo-etno style. I let myself play around and made this really crazy system with squares, that logo itself is a square and consists of certain amount of squars and the text part is as wide and long as one row of those squares and so on. But in the end nobody can see the math that I did, but maybe you can sense it.
All the EFF workers got to pick their own business card colour.
They also produced very nice wooden pens. And the same identity is used in the animation in front of the supported movies and in an annual movie report book.
