Street art for me, is to improve and enhance a poor, dirty or derelict area or wall by creating something interesting & beautiful. Something that will make people think, make people notice their surroundings, and look outside social conventions.
This piece was stencilled on bathroom tiles by myself and a friend, and cemented on an abandoned and ugly looking electricity building.
The message being how restrictive, frustrating, money obsessed, over-political, over-analysed and corrupt the world is and sometimes you just need to escape. Exit. Follow your imagination, creative desire, musical outlet and look past worldly problems to the massively overpowering positive factors that constitutes where we live.
Inspiration for the idea was conceived at a live DJ set when the ability to loose yourself in the music seemed easy and blissful. Miles away from any problems.
