Inspired by the book the Invisible Cities, this garment is based on the city Ersilia. I wove the top portion of the dress with different rope materials and colors as described in the story. I wanted to challenge myself to turn the stories of these cities into body garments. Taking a two dimensional reality into three dimensions.
