Erdenlied Wine Label
Erdenlied is a series of labels for Austrian wine I designed for Astor Wines & Spirits. It comes in three varietals, two white wines and one red: a Riesling, Gruner Veltliner and a Zweigelt. The name Erdenlied refers to a symphony composed by Gustav Mahler. Since he was friends and contemporaries of the Wiener Werkstatte, a movement founded by some of my favorite artists and designers, i was thrilled to work on this and to incorporate their style in this label. The wines have gone on to be some of the more successful products at Astor, has been featured on the Dieline Packaging Design blog, and are also included in the TASTE FESTIVAL 2012 packaging design exhibition held at the Direktorenhaus in Berlin.
